FertiSoil 4-2-10 | Technical Data sheet
FertiSoil 4-2-10 is an animal-based fertiliser pellet that enhances soil health and water retention by providing essential organic matter. This organic matter feeds soil microorganisms that convert it into plant nutrients, supporting a balanced soil ecosystem.
The fertiliser includes key macro- and micronutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, and boron, released gradually throughout the growing season. Nitrogen supports overall growth, phosphorus aids energy transfer, and potassium enhances disease resistance and fruit quality. Calcium improves cell structure, iron is vital for chlorophyll, and manganese assists in enzymatic functions. Zinc and boron are important for metabolic processes. The high potassium content benefits plants needing more potassium, especially in deficient soils.
Humic and fulvic acids in the fertiliser improve nutrient management. Humic acids bind nutrients, while fulvic acids enhance absorption by mobilizing them to plant roots. The organic matter also retains and gradually releases water, ensuring consistent moisture and optimal plant health.
Benefits
- Balanced macro- and micronutrients during the crop cycle
- Contains humic and fulvic acids
- Organic matter improves water holding capacity of the soil
General Advice
For annual plants, apply before sowing or planting, for perennial crops apply at start of growing season. Apply the fertiliser once a year and mix the fertiliser with the top layer of the soil. If application before planting isn't possible, apply before rain or irrigate afterwards. When fertilising trees, distribute the fertiliser over the root area, ideally mixing it into the soil. For wider coverage, spread applications as needed. This user-friendly fertiliser can be easily applied in the field by hand or with a spreader. Spread applications if necessary.
General application
The product can be used in combination with all Den Ouden GrowSolutions fertilisers, bacterial products and mycorrhiza products.

These product application rates are recommendations. The dosage depends on local soil & weather conditions. Recommended rates are for full production.
For tree/shrub/plant in development stage or without production, rates can be lowered. Above rates are advised on a complementary based
fertilisation. In most of the times extra nutrients should be applied depending on soil analysis or crop stage. We recommend to the farmers to seek counsel
from their adviser to adjust the recommendations to their particular situation and avoid over- or underfertilisation.
