Purpose
In this experiment, the effectiveness of fertilizer FertAmino 7-2-2, NutriFul and a combination of FertAmino 7-2-2 with NutriFul are tested on shoot growth stimulation of weak growing Conference trees during the growing season of 2022. In this experiment, three different treatments are tested to stimulate the growth of weak growing trees. FertAmino 7-2-2 contains N-P-K and is also rich in amino acids. These amino acids are largely free and easily absorbable even at low temperatures because they originate from plants. The moment the amino acids are directly absorbable by the plant, it does not need to put extra energy into them. This allows the plant to use its energy for other processes. NutriFul has a chelating effect. It ensures that nutrients in the soil are released and can be absorbed by the plant.
Results
Based on a growth vigour map of the previous year (2021), 100 weak growing trees in the orchard were selected (20 trees/object). The following three objects were tested and compared with an untreated control: FertAmino 7-2-2, NutriFul, FertAmino 7-2-2 + NutriFul (table 1). All experimental treatments were additional to standard practices of the grower.
